What we do
- Ocean freight, full container (FCL)Booked and carried on our own house bill of lading as an NVOCC.
- Ocean freight, less than container (LCL)Consolidated at origin and deconsolidated at the US gateway.
- Air freightGeneral cargo only; no dangerous goods or lithium batteries by air.
- US drayage and truckingArranged as a non-asset FMCSA property broker through contracted carriers.
- Warehousing and transloadingThrough partner warehouses near the US gateways.
- US customs clearanceEntries filed through our licensed customs broker network.
- Importer Security Filing (ISF)Filed as the NVOCC on the shipments we carry.
- Cargo insuranceArranged per shipment on request.
- International shipping from the USAExport parcels and freight from the US to the world.
What we do not do
- We are not a vessel operator. As an NVOCC we buy space from the ocean carriers and carry your cargo on our own house bill of lading.
- We do not own trucks, chassis or a container yard. US trucking is brokered to licensed motor carriers.
- We do not hold a US customs broker license ourselves. Entries are filed through licensed brokers we work with.
- We do not book dangerous goods or lithium batteries by air.
- We do not publish rates on this site. Every quote is priced for the shipment: route, cargo, equipment and date.
Lanes we publish guides for
Each guide names the load ports, the US gateways, the documents each side files and the typical transit range for the lane. Port-pair pages under each guide cover the individual port-to-port routings.

How to verify us
- FMC license. Open the FMC's Ocean Transportation Intermediary list, choose the NVOCC tab and search for "Airlift". The entry shows license 016162, the bond and the trade name Airlift Container Line.
- FMCSA registration. Look up USDOT 2355713 on the FMCSA SAFER company snapshot. It shows the entity type as a broker with no power units, which is what a non-asset trucking broker should show.
- Offices. Every address and office telephone is on the offices directory, with a map link for each. Call the office nearest your cargo rather than a number from an email.
- Bill of lading. Ask for a specimen Airlift house bill of lading and the FMC tariff reference before you book. An NVOCC issues its own; a forwarder that cannot show one is not carrying your cargo as the carrier.
