Freight Forwarder in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, for Shipping to the USA
Airlift USA's Phnom Penh office, in the Canadia Bank Tower on Monivong Boulevard, is our own freight forwarding office in Cambodia for the Cambodia to USA lane. It books FCL (LCL on request) through Phnom Penh Autonomous Port (KHPNH) and Sihanoukville (KHKOS), relayed through Vietnam or a hub such as Singapore, and air freight from Techo International Airport (KTI), and handles pickup, loading and the export documents. Phnom Penh to Los Angeles is listed at 24–34 days port to port, and Phnom Penh to New York at 38–48 days; air is 4–8 days airport to airport. Airlift USA (in business since 1999; FMC-licensed NVOCC, FMC No. 016162) files the ISF, and its Los Angeles and New Jersey offices coordinate the US entry through licensed customs brokers and delivery. Shipping from Cambodia to the USA: Phnom Penh or Sihanoukville
Cambodia has two container gateways. Phnom Penh Autonomous Port is a river port on the Mekong, and its main container terminal, LM17, is in Kandal province about 30 kilometers from the capital. Sihanoukville Autonomous Port, on the Bay of Kompong Som, is the country's only deep-sea port.
Garments, footwear and travel goods make up about half of Cambodia's exports. On our Cambodia to USA lane the main cargo is garments, furniture, lamps and home decor, light for its volume and usually shipped in 40-foot high-cube containers, with buyer's consolidation for orders from several suppliers.
No transpacific service calls in Cambodia, so every container is relayed at a hub: in the September 2026 carrier schedules, Phnom Penh sailings relayed at Cai Mep–Vung Tau in Vietnam, and Sihanoukville sailings most often at Singapore. Containers from Phnom Penh go down the Mekong by barge to Cai Mep or Cat Lai in Vietnam, or by truck through the Bavet–Moc Bai border gate. The lane guide publishes 24–34 days from Phnom Penh to Los Angeles and 38–48 days to New York.
Since 9 September 2025, the capital's airport has been Techo International Airport (KTI), which replaced Phnom Penh International Airport. Our office, on the 18th floor of the Canadia Bank Tower on Monivong Boulevard, handles the origin side: bookings, factory pickup, loading and the export documents. Our New Jersey and Los Angeles offices coordinate the US customs entry, through licensed customs brokers, and delivery.
Pickup and export documents in Cambodia: factory pickup, container loading and the export documents for the export declaration with the General Department of Customs and Excise, handled by Airlift's own office.
Importer Security Filing (ISF): filed by Airlift USA as the NVOCC at least 24 hours before the container is loaded on the vessel bound for the United States.
US customs clearance on arrival: the entry is filed through Airlift USA's licensed customs-broker network, under a power of attorney from the importer of record.
Phnom Penh is Airlift USA's office in Cambodia. It handles the export end of the Cambodia to USA lane: export bookings, cargo pickup coordination and export documentation for cargo sailing from Phnom Penh to the United States.
