What is a Shipper's Export Declaration?

The Shipper's Export Declaration (SED) was a required paper form (Commerce Form…7525‐V) used for export shipments, providing data for export controls and U.S. trade statistics. It has now been replaced by Electronic Export Information (EEI),filed through the Automated Export System (AES).
